This week we celebrated Maynard Pride Week that was highlighted by a walk around town to learn of the history of landmarks and their significance. You would be amazed to know all the land that John Smith and his family owned.
This week in Math students prepared for their final quiz on Geometry Properties and Volume of Solid Figures. Next week students will begin preparing math games for Carnival Day on Tuesday, June 19th for 4th graders to visit and play.
This week in Science students worked on creating a Life Cycle Poster. This included online research of their choice animal. Here are some pictures from the Rocks and Minerals Project featuring edible geodes and baked fossils.
Well, I know this month has already been a blur with so many things all at once between graduations, practices, end of season tournaments, concerts, school banquets, yard work, and a whole lot of running around. But through it all the kids are having fun. I will be sure to plan fun activities for students for the final 2 weeks of school.
