Our dream year continues!
This week in Science students viewed and answered comprehensions questions on Brainpop featuring Galaxies, Milky Way, and Time Zones. Students also calculated the number of seconds, minutes, and then hours it would take to transmit "Hello" to the Moon and other Planets. Students also calculated their weight on the Moon and other Planets. Finally, students selected topics of the Solar System for the upcoming Green Screen Presentation. The Solar System Test is next Wednesday.
This week in Mr. Marrese's History Class students reviewed for the upcoming Test on Roanoke, Jamestown, and Plymouth by participating in Kahoot! We also continued learning about the founders and people settling in the Middle Colonies. We will continue to learn how these colonies were formed through various business dealings. In the Google Classroom newly assigned work includes videos and questions on the Dutch West India, New Amsterdam, and English Ships spanning from 1621 - 1664.
Term 2 grades close on Wednesday, March 13th.
