Update

Hello,

This week in Math students practiced solving Division problems. Methods included: Partial Quotients, Estimating using Compatible Numbers, and Standard Division of 2-Digit Numbers. Students also continued practice with math facts. Students continued their work with online math programs. I would like students to work on them at home at least 3 times a week. The Menu Project was collected today. I look forward to reviewing them soon.

This week in Science students learned about the history of Roller Coasters. We then made the connection to potential and kinetic energy. Students then wrote up another example such as sledding from the top of a hill and bowling. Students also created their own Roller Coasters. Check out the video below.
