This week in Math students took a quiz on the final part of chapter 4 multiplying decimals. Students also solved an investigation involving how much of each type of exercise would be required to burn the calories of a McDonald's Big Mac Extra Value Meal for LeBron James, Justin Timberlake, Abby Wambach, and Selena Gomez. One of our conclusions was that LeBron would have to play 2 NBA Basketball Games equal to 86 minutes, 43 minutes per game with 5 minutes rest to burn off the meal.
This week in Science students responded to light energy reading comprehension questions which will be continued when we return. The Light Energy Circle Book will be coming up next. Students also planned a design for a marshmallow and toothpick structure to be tall and self-standing.
