Update

Hello,

This week in Math students worked on word problem solving for division of decimals. This included a review for Friday's Quiz. One of the strategies involved working backwards when given the total to find the cost of an item. The Problem of the Week was completed. Looking ahead we will begin our Fractions Unit on Monday. The Tic Tac Challenge is due on Friday as well as the Project Cost Sheet as a checkpoint.

This week in Science students learned about stars and their constellations. Students also created an orbit model including the Sun, Earth, and Moon. We talked about how we can see different constellations throughout the year based on the Earth's position during its seasonal revolution around the Sun. Students are updating their Moon Calendar Nightly for 30 days.

We are looking forward to our annual visit to the Christa McAuliffe Challenger Center next week. This marks the 30th Anniversary which is why we are submitting Media Release Forms.
