Update

Hello,

This week in Math students solved problems in review for the Chapter 6 Quiz on Adding and Subtracting Fractions and Mixed Numbers. Students also practiced skills in review such as dividing decimals. Continued practice of past taught concepts will continue through March. We are headed towards multiplying fractions and mixed numbers in our next chapter.

This week in Science students solved multiple choice questions to demonstrate comprehension of topics in the Solar System Unit. Students will be finalizing the unit the following week with a Test following the vacation week. Students also read and summarized articles taken from the Sciencedaily.com website. They also took a quiz on the Moon Phases.

MCAS 2.0
This week teachers were trained on how to help students prepare for computerized testing. Each week students will get practice utilizing like tools to become better acclimated with the functionality of MCAS 2.0.
