Update

Greetings!

This week in Math students completed a quiz on Dividing Whole Numbers. Students were later introduced to Chapter 3 Place Value of Decimals. Students discovered parts of a whole to the thousandths place on a base ten block. Students then expressed standard form values in both word form and expanded form of decimals and fractions. Students finally practiced comparing and ordering decimals. The October Tic Tac Challenge was collected on Tuesday and the November version was handed out. The Titanic Problem of the Week was collected on Friday. Students were also introduced to the Menu Project due on Friday, November 17th.

This week in Science students read an introductory packet to Electrical Energy and described key terms with examples. Students later viewed a Brainpop video and answered comprehension questions.

Students attended a Community Meeting on Wednesday regarding Anti-Bullying which was presented by Ms. Seyller.
