Update

Hello,

This week in Science students tested minerals for the 5 properties: luster, color, streak, hardness, and cleavage. Students created a Mineral Learning Poster stating the meaning of each property and mineral. Students also worked on a Wanted Missing Rock Poster. Next week students will each read a notice and try to identify the rock on the table. 3 Grand Canyon Assignments have been uploaded into the Google Classroom.

This week in Mr. Marrese's History Class students read about the settlements of New France, New Spain, and New Netherlands. Students filled out a chart showing the main explorers, reasons for settlement, locations, and treatment of Native Americans. Students wrote about how life would be different in this New World if these settlements never took place.
