Update

Hello,

This week in Science as a class we reviewed the Ecosystem Project Bottle Analysis to note observations throughout each plant's growth, factors leading to the success, and what could be done to improve the project in the future. Ecosystem Bottles were sent home this week. Parents are welcome to decide what to do next. Students also read and answered questions on the Food Energy Pyramid, Producers, Consumers, Scavengers, and Decomposers. Students viewed a MysteryScience video and participated in a Food Chain Card Game in which cards could be linked to create multiple food chains. Students will complete an assessment of the lesson soon. Students received a Flash Card Study Guide for their upcoming Test on Wednesday, June 5th.

This week in Mr. Marrese's History Class students read news articles about Paul Revere's Ride and Redcoats on the Run. Students also read and answered questions about both Continental and British soldiers and women in the war. Students received a Flash Card Study Guide for their upcoming Test on Wednesday, May 29th.

The MCAS is over for the majority of Grade 5 with make-ups for a few next Wednesday.
Students worked very hard these past 2 months to do their best!
