Weekly Update!

Greetings!

Well it was so nice to meet our new students this week. Everyone seems excited to be back to begin a new year of learning.

I would like to ask that all forms get filled out this weekend and turned in on Tuesday. This way students can look forward to next week's school work and not back to forms.

Please be sure to sign up for Seesaw. This is how I am going to communicate regularly for this school year. Students were given a sign-up letter on Tuesday. So far I have 12 parents signed up for the year.

This week in Science students learned about observations, the 2 types of observations: qualitative and quantitative, opinions, and inferences. Students then determined whether specific scenarios could be categorized as observations or inferences. Then, students viewed a scene with penguins in the arctic and had to write 3 observations and 2 inferences. Finally, students played the Silent Observation Game.

We will begin History next week!
