Update

Greetings!

This week in Science students had the opportunity to test circuits to determine if various objects were conductors, insulators, or both like pencils, water bottles, or a white board. Students completed a circuit drawing 4-Square to show open, closed, series, and parallel circuits. Students played Jeopardy to help prepare for their quiz. A few Brainpop videos on batteries and electrical circuits finished out the week. Next week we will begin learning about the most interesting planet in the world - Planet Earth!

This week in Mr. Marrese's History class students learned about the Mayflower Compact and how it was designed to establish a form of government to live by. Students also learned about how the Pilgrims agreed to a massive debt in coming to the New World to escape the poverty in England. Also, the English investors lost a ton of money in their investment as half of the colonists died that first winter.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Regards,

Chris
