Update

Greetings!

This week in Science students read and answered questions on the following passages: the properties of light, what's the coolest color, let there be light, and the electromagnetic spectrum. Students watched and answered questions on 2 Brainpop videos on rainbows, and refraction and diffraction. Students participated in the Flashlight Lab to test objects for transparency, translucency, and opaqueness. Next, students were introduced to the components of electricity in which they had to define each term and provide an example.

This week in Mr. Marrese's History Class students read about the experience through the lens of the Native American's entitled: America...At whose cost? Students also learned about the estimated discoveries of America's rivers and landforms. Students also learned about people going into business investing in the Virginia Colony along with the decision-making considerations for becoming an indentured servant.

Thanks,

Chris
