This week in Math students practiced their math facts. This included exponents expressed as repeated multiplication of base factors also in standard form, addition and subtraction skillbuilder, multi-digit multiplication word problems, and Sumdog. Students spent time practicing concepts from the 2nd half of Chapter 1 GoMath to prepare for 2 quizzes.
This week in Science students began an introduction to the Forms of Energy Unit. Students read a packet and responded to a Science Reading Critical Thinking Comprehension Packet. Students had to create Discussion Questions using the 6 levels of Bloom's Taxonomy and write vocabulary terms to discuss with classmates.
