Update

Greetings!

This week in Math students completed Chapter 3 Addition and Subtraction of Decimals with patterns to find consecutive terms and money to charge and make change. Students also practiced counting backwards by 3's, 5's, and 6's along with by quarters, nickels, and dimes. Students also learned how to balance a checking account based on deposits, withdrawals, and check writing. We finished the week with a fun game of Math Jeopardy practicing skills in review.

This week in Science students created circuits with battery cells in compartments, wires, switches, light bulbs, and motors with propellers.Students viewed a final power point presentation capturing the key concepts of electrical circuits, insulators, and conductors, etc. before completing related activities to demonstrate understanding of these concepts.
