Update

Hello,

This week in Math we wrapped up our chapter unit on adding and subtracting fractions with a quiz on Friday. Practice will continue on this concept for the remainder of the year as part of mixed review. Students practiced applying concepts to word problems and recipe amounts to strengthen their problem solving skills.

Students completed their 3rd Round of Star Testing. This is a data point teachers use to track the progress of the entire 5th Grade.

This week in Science students continued responding to their 5 writing prompts for the Solar System Glog Project. About half of the class began creating their Interactive Multimedia Glog Project. We will continue for another week and see if we need more lab time as a class.
