Update

Hello,

This week in Math students practiced a number of skills. Students learned how to create line plots and used them to find the average of the data.  Students learned how to plot ordered pairs and then applied this skill to create line graphs from tables. Next, students learned how to apply function rules to determine input-output data tables which were also graphed. Finally, students reviewed concepts from the school year including place value, rounding, and all 4 operations for whole numbers, decimals, and fractions as a refresher.

This week in Science students were introduced to the components of an ecosystem. Students read from a few sources to learn more about physical and behavioral adaptations of plant and animal types. Specific examples were given of species that have adapted over time to survive in the changing living conditions of each environment.
