Weekly Update!

Hello everyone!

Another great week of learning is in the books.

This week in Science students were introduced to the aspects of the Scientific Method and discovered the difference between an observation and an inference. Students impressed 6 objects into Play-Doh to create fossils in order to make observations and inferences about them. Students were later introduced to a hypothesis and how it can be used to make a prediction of an expected outcome based on prior knowledge. Students were given the Science In A Bag assignment which is due next Thursday. They were invited to look either in the house, yard, or even woods to find an object for their Science In A Bag.

This week in Mr. Marrese's History class students practiced world map skills. These included a directional compass, and all continents and oceans. Latitude and longitude are on deck.

We are awaiting word on the 1:1 Technology and will share more about it soon.

The Fun Run will be held next Thursday.
