Weekly Update

Hello,

This week in Science students created a States of Matter Foldable showing their knowledge of a Solid, Liquid, and Gas including a written and drawn example for each. Students watched 2 video clips on the creation of Oobleck - a non-newtonian mixture. Students learned about Energy with an overview of its many forms. They categorized pictures into the appropriate columns with understanding that some pictures can fit in more than column. Students are now focusing on the 2 types of Mechanical Energy: Potential and Kinetic. Below is a catchy song students enjoyed today to help learn the difference between each type.
