Weekly Update

Greetings!

This week in Science students reviewed the Animal Adaptation Reading Packet and were able to distinguish between Physical and Behavioral Adaptations. Students learned about Ecosystems including the levels of Individuals, how they make up a Population, how many Populations make up a Community, and how many communities make up an Ecosystem. Finally, we talked about Invasive Species for Animals and Plants and the impact on these Ecosystems.

This week in Mr. Marrese's History Class students learned about the events leading up to the Revolutionary War. These acts enforced by the British included: Proclamation of 1763, Sugar Act, Stamp Act, Townshend Act, Quartering Act, Tea Act, and Intolerable Act. Students learned about the Colonists disapproval and revolts of these Acts. The events that followed included the Boston Tea Party and the Boston Massacre. We also reviewed the French and Indian War with a game of Kahoot.

Regards,

Chris
