Update

Hello,

What a fantastic week highlighted by our Trip to Fenway for the STEM Fair and Red Sox Game.
It was so wonderful to see all of the happy faces singing in the stands with their faces painted, holding twisted balloons, and treats. We can all thank Miss Corrigan for putting this trip together.

This week in Science students learned about Producers, Consumers and Decomposers. We also created Ecosystems in a Bottle. Students are already noticing their plants beginning to sprout above the soil We discussed the benefits of having a worm in the soil. We are looking forward to learning about Biomes next.

This week in Mr. Marrese's History Class students learned about the details regarding the Boston Massacre and Boston Tea Party. Next, students learned about the First Continental Congress. These are important steps toward revolting against the British.

Next week students will take the Science MCAS on Wednesday and Thursday. The Math MCAS will be taken the following Wednesday and Thursday.
