Update

Greetings!

This week in Science I shared a 1969 Boston Globe Newspaper outlining the astronauts upcoming Mission to the Moon. We will read some articles next week. Students were given a Moon Calendar to fill out during the month to learn the moon phases. Students created a Moon Phase Flip Book and Orbit Model of the Sun, Earth and Moon. Students learned facts about the Moon in relation to the Earth and Sun. Students were assigned questions from our new online program JogNog which features questions from the MCAS. Finally, the Rocks and Minerals Project was collected today and the Test is next Wednesday with the Study Guide in Google Classroom.

This week in Mr. Marrese's History Class students learned about the French and Indian War with consideration to the George Washington. Students then read from our online text in Google Classroom about the new tax laws imposed by the British. Students responded in writing as to whether they felt it was fair to be forced to pay taxes on goods and services.
