Update

Greetings!

This week in Science students continued filling out their Moon Calendar. Students enjoyed viewing IPad apps called Moon Globe, Mars Globe, SkyView, and Solar System Augmented Reality. Students read about Stars and their Constellations, selected one of the 12 monthly constellations and wrote about its mythological representation. Students viewed 2 Constellation videos and answered questions in Google Classroom. Students recapped the Moon's apparent motion and its phases and answered questions in Google Classroom in preparation for Friday's Quiz.


This week in Mr. Marrese's History Class students reviewed the Tax Acts that angered many colonists wanting to revolt. We discussed, read about, and viewed videos on the Boston Tea Party and Boston Massacre. Students completed a quick-write on Benjamin Franklin's 1st American political cartoon entitled "Join or Die!" Students also responded in Google Classroom to questions about the Stamp Act, Townshend Act, Tea Party, and 1st Continental Congress.
